Wax Melt Safety

How to Safely Use Your Wax Melts

  • Place your choice of fragranced wax melt in the top of the burner. (Do Not Add Water)
  • If using a traditional burner, light a 2-4hr unscented tealight and place in the base of the burner, and wait for the beautiful aroma to fill your room.
  • Never leave a burning candle unattended and keep lit candles out of the reach of children and pets.
  • Do not place burners near to windows, loose items (such as curtains) or near a draught.
  • Wax Melts should not be burnt for more than 4hrs at a time.
  • Do not touch the burner whilst in use as it will be hot, allow to cool down before handling, as the wax cools it will solidify and can be used again until the scent has gone.
  • To remove the wax, light the burner and allow the wax to soften for around 30seconds. Gently push the wax and it will slide out in a disk that can be disposed of according to local regulations. (do not pour melted wax down the sink or drain) Gently wipe the burner with tissue or a cotton wool pad to remove any residue.
